How is Night Moves different from conventional truckside illumination?
Unlike conventional backlit, spot-lit or reflective graphics, Night Moves graphics are themselves the light source. Plus, the panels are far less bulky, more versatile, more durable and energy-efficient than any existing vehicle graphics illumination system. And as for looks—nothing turns heads like Night Moves.

Should I be concerned about glare or other DOT regulations?
The illuminated graphic panel complies with US DOT regulations and standards for vehicular use. They enhance the visibility of your vehicle without glare to other drivers.

Is the graphic panel hot to the touch when illuminated?
The illuminated graphic panels generate negligible heat. They are cool to the touch.

What sort of maintenance is required on the panels?
The panels are maintenance free. The panels contain no filaments to break so they never fail to light.

How long do the panels last?
Night Moves vehicle illumination systems typically last for between 6,000 and 8,000 hours of nightly operation.

In order to use Night Moves do I need to apply new graphics to my vehicles?
The illuminated graphic panels can be installed right on top of your existing vehicle graphics making retrofits simple and easy.

How visible are the illuminated graphics and are there dark spots?
The illuminated panels provide continuous uniform light over their entire face so there are no dark spots in the panels. The illuminated panels provide a field source of light so the graphics are more visible through smoke, fog, haze or snow and at greater distances than graphics illuminated by traditional lighting such as spot or fluorescence lighting.

Do the panels contain any hazardous materials?
The panels contain no gasses, mercury or glass. They are safe for landfill disposal.

Can the panels be washed?
Yes. The graphics panels are tough and durable to last through harsh weather and power washing. They can be cleaned as you would any other graphic on your vehicle.

How do I turn the illuminated graphic panel on or off?
The graphic panels are turned on and off automatically by a photosensitive cell. There is nothing that needs to be done—Night Moves is automatic.

Are the graphic panels heavy?
The graphic panels are lightweight - less than 1/4 lb. per square foot.

Are there any limitations in my graphic designs?
With today's digital printing capabilities, most anything that can be digitally photographed or designed can be printed. We ask that all graphic files be submitted in Adobe Illustrator .AI or .EPS format at a minimum of 100 DPI at 100%.

Is my graphic limited to a particular shape?
Though the illuminated panels normally come in rectangular sizes, with strategic graphic masking you can illuminate all or just portions of your graphic giving a specific or irregular illuminated look to your graphics. Night Moves can illuminate virtually any graphic or company logo.
